So what I'm trying to do is to conduct an experiment to see if I can raise enough money to pay down my parents mortgage. I appreciate any and all help towards achieving this goal. The reason for doing this is because I am worried in the near future they might have to sell or lose their house. If this works, the site will migrate to raise donations for other local causes.

Well as of August of this year I had to sell my house to buy their house in a rush. As of now it has been an major work in progress. Everyday has been a project. Finding new things that have just been neglected over the last 40 years. Between broken windows, disgusting bathrooms with mold all over, rat pee and poop everywhere in the walls under the bathtub and in walls, to just sheer neglect of the yard. Sure some day I think it will translate into a good investment but until then I see many hours of having to work unwanted overtime, spending every penny on fixing the house. Made the mistake of having the wife's long time friend that supposedly did interior construction work on remodeling the bathroom. That was a flop and giant waste of money. Tossed $7,000 out the window as he knew absolutely nothing about what he was doing. Unfortunately I realized that half way through the remodel. Ended up just finishing the shotty job myself as a quick fix cause we needed a bathroom. Showering in the back yard under a cold hose was not ideal for a week and a half. The bathroom works but needs to be completely torn out and fixed eventually.
On my 6th dump trailer full of overgrowth. Finally able to have a clear view of the house. Will continue for a while I'm sure.

Just had the privilege of experiencing the birth of my daughter. Wow that was eye opening. I've never felt the wave of love come over me so fast in my life before.

Started replacing the majority of the front fence around the front yard because the step son climbed over it the and the fence collapsed due to rotten posts. was actually quite funny when it happened.

After the first fix job. i decided I will be doing the rest as much as I can myself and with my friends that I know are competent. Replaced some windows, fixed siding, fixed water lines and drains to bathroom. Replaced the sink / counter.

Built a storage shed in the back yard so I can get all the rest of my junk and car parts and other house hold things out of the darn expensive storage unit and cut that monthly bill.

Unfortunately we lost a great guy two weeks ago. My good friend who got me into and flipped the light on in my head regarding Bitcoin passed of Cancer. He truly was a One of a Kind Dude! My heart goes out to his family. I will never forget the time I was lucky enough to spend with him, and always telling me to just invest some money in Bitcoin and let it sit. I should have listened to him.

Decided to remove the rotten decking on the back after my foot broke through one of the boards. Working on rebuilding the structure as it was all falling apart. Found that there were piles of broken up cement under the deck with pooling water and garbage. Now I know why the water never dried up or drained properly but instead was leaching under the house. Like opening a can of worms on each project.

Well now all the countless hours of overtime, cuts, scrapes, and sore muscles from doing it myself and just the restless nights are tapering down. Got the deck relatively 85% done and the patio poured to cover the dust bowl of a back yard. drainage is rerouted. My daughter is now walking and running with not too many scraped knees. There is no sense of accomplishment like figuring out and completing a task on your own from start to finish (well the cement was pored by the pros). By the way, been nurturing few old growth pineapple guava bushes back to health that have been around as long as I can remember. Cant wait to enjoy some Fall fruit that takes me back to childhood. If you haven't had them, the inside is like a kiwi with a leathery skin.

Got the Flu from someone that self proclaimed they were fully jabbed and proud. My family and I spent over a week outside in the sun absorbing natural vitamin D taking zinc relying on aquiring Natural Immunity through Gods process of his own creation.
